Our International gift From God!
Father Jacob Kurian was born and raised in a very strong Catholic family in the state of Kerala, which is in the southern part of India. He is the sixth out of eight children and has five older brothers and two younger sisters. He was ordained a priest in the congregation of the Heralds of Good News on April 19, 1999. Fr. Jacob came to Lexington after having been a pastor in Papua New Guinea for 4 ½ years. Fr. Jacob served at the Cathedral of Christ the King and Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary before his current assignment as pastor at St. Joseph’s. Father Jacob says "Wonderful things are happening in our community, and I feel blessed that God has called me to be a part of it. God bless you!"
